Camp Taurajo was a tauren outpost situated in the Barrens near the mountain pass leading to Mulgore. It could be reached by starting tauren players by following the road east from Bloodhoof Village. It had an inn, a few vendors, some profession trainers, and a flight master.
Tauren run this camp, and Jorn Skyseer leads it. It lies along the Gold Road, south of Crossroads. The camp is concerned with defending against the encroaching quilboar, and often holds captured quilboar prisoners. Brann Bronzebeard often suspects that if the threat of the quilboar is ever removed, they may turn their attention toward his people in Bael Modan, threatening the excavation.
During the events of Cataclysm, the town will be destroyed by the Alliance, the reason being presumably to create a settlement nearby. Several Quest lines do hint that there was rumour among the Alliance that Taurajo was being used to train soldiers, also the General who led the assault ordered his men to give the towns-folk time to escape. Due to this, the way into Mulgore will be reinforced with a wall and a gate.
Where to start? Well, somebody would say all the way back to Warcraft I (aka Warcraft: Orcs & Humans or the First War), or maybe Warcraft II (aka Tides of Darkness or the Second War up to and including Wrath of the Lich King, Warcraft III is the best place to start. Also, this game then elicits more interesting questions. For instance, how Illidan Stormrage became so hated or where the Scourge started. You will learn all the history and geography of the Warcraft with our help and dedication.
