THE RETURN OF THE TROLL KING new (video)
The Vampire Counts are a race and faction introduced in Total War: Warhammer. The Vampire Counts faction is playable in campaign, multiplayer and custom battles. They have 3 legendary lords in the first game, but only 2 in the second as one has been moved to their own faction.
The Vampire Counts are a collection of immortal vampires and twisted human necromancers. Using dark magic, they raise the dead and summon creatures of the night to march upon the lands of the living, seeking to dominate the world. Their armies consist of hordes of Zombies and Skeletons, backed up by ethereal ghosts and huge bat-like monsters. Vampire Counts units never rout or break; but they also have no ranged units.
Warhammer (formerly Warhammer Fantasy Battle or just Warhammer Fantasy) is a tabletop miniature wargame with a medieval fantasy theme that simulates battles between terrestrial armies from different factions. The game was created by Rick Priestley and sold by the Games Workshop company. In this post you will see Dwarfs vs Vampire Counts Battle!
Sister Irmgard worked in the Shallyan Sanatorium before the coming of the Ratmen. One of her charges was a man who seemed relatively sane, other than the fact that he was convinced that the legendary Skaven were out to get him because he knew too much about them. He claimed he had crossed the bulk of the Old World to flee them, coming at last to the Eye of the Forest where he hoped they could not find him. He also told her he had once been one of their slaves and proved it by speaking to her in a bizarre chittering voice. What she once wrote off as lunatic’s fancy, she now believes to have been all too real, having seen the Skaven for herself. She begs some adventurers to rescue him if they are able. The man’s name is Walther Gopfert.
The Skaven treated the Shallyans’ Sanatorium as one big larder. But Gopfert knew that was coming and managed to hide. It will take a lot of searching and some convincing to get him to reveal himself.
Walther is a wiry, weather-beaten man of indeterminate age. His hands shake a bit, but his steel-grey eyes are too steady for a mad man. Walther told Sister Irmgard the truth. Not only was he once a Skaven slave—he escaped from Skavenblight. He has horrible nightmares about his experiences among the Skaven, and he has been on the run since escaping over fifteen years ago.
Gopfert will prove to be an invaluable ally to the Resistance. His knowledge of the Skaven and their ways is desperately needed. More importantly, his presence allows adventurers to forcefully question Skaven captives.
