Microsoft has decided to change the logo of its browser Edge and thus permanently (at least visually) intersect with the infamous Internet Explorer.
The company introduced Edge four years ago, and the logo that almost adorned the "entrance" to the new browser was reminiscent of Internet Explorer - a browser that was once the only relevant one, and over the years has become boring and unpredictable.
The new logo is again styled "e", but does not visually rely on old times. The new logo is shaped and colored to resemble a wave, alluding to "surfing the web".
However, the change won't come immediately, as the logo is primarily reserved for Edge Chromium, the new version of the browser whose final release will be released this week.
