Activision officially announced the arrival of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game yesterday, which was also confirmed to use a new engine to deliver "photorealistic" experience.
This new engine uses the latest advances in visual engineering, including the new PBR decal rendering system, 4K HDR, DirectX Raytracing, new animation system, Dolby ATMOS support and other features.
This is a reboot of the Modern Warfare series that will offer a "culturally relevant" single-player campaign, featured in various European cities and the Middle East as well as online multiplayer and co-op modes. It has also been confirmed that the game will offer cross-platform features and will not offer a seasonal pass.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms on October 25 this year.
