BioWare has announced that it is once again changing its plan for additional content for the unhappy Anthem. Now we will no longer see regular chapters but seasonal updates.
The future of an SF game called Anthem is again questionable. The BioWare development team has been several times late this year in delivering the extra content they promised, and now they have changed the plan once again. An official blog says the development focus will now be on fixing key things in the game, which is why we will see more content less frequently.
BioWare plans to work on balancing the fight and sorting out the gaming economy, and these are long-term works that will cause additional content to be delivered in a chapter/act format rather than seasonally. This means that extensions will no longer be in sequence, but will be tied to one major update. We do not know on what basis - quarterly, semi-annually, annually ... we only know that new seasonal content is coming to the end of 2019.
BioWare probably switched to this format to stay away from previous promises they were unable to deliver. With regular content, they are already late, so it is best that no one knows when new content will come because then no one can even complain about it if they are late. And if new content is not announced in advance, it will probably be easier to accept the potential euthanasia of the game by Electronic Arts if / when it occurs.
It wouldn't be the first time, the same scenario we already had with DLC extensions for Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that the Italian football championship, popular Serie A, will remain at Pro Evolution Soccer for the 2020 edition. This practically means that Kalcho does not change its address like in previous years and that the league logo, trophy, coats of arms and teams remain sponsored by Konami. Numerous Italian football giants, such as Milan rivals, Inter Milan and AC Milan, have had valid contracts with Konami in previous seasons, and since this year the team has been joined by champion "Boots" Juventus, which appears on PES 2020. Also, the footballers themselves an approach was offered to collaborate with the creative team to assist in the creation of physical characters as well as in-game features.
Also, Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has become one of the official PES ambassadors this season and will be on the cover for PES 2020 and will be involved in other activities related to Konami and the club where he plays.
Another important thing is the agreement with the European Football Federation (UEFA), which stipulates that the upcoming Continental Football Championship 2020 will appear on PES! Konami will allow its users to download European Championship (DLC) content for free, which also means that national teams, their jerseys, insignia, and coats of arms will be unlocked for PES.
UEFA's Marketing Director, Guy Laurent-Epstein, expressed satisfaction with the agreement with Konami: “We are pleased to have extended and deepened our cooperation. UEFA Euro 2020 is an opportunity to strengthen our bond and reach fans worldwide. ”
An eFootball PES 2020 tournament is also planned, where representatives of football associations from countries across Europe will send their representatives to compete for the win. The top 16 representatives will compete in the finals, which will take place at the time of the semi-final and final matches at EURO 2020 in London next year.
PES 2020, and the Series A and EURO 2020, will be available for the US and European markets on September 10th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Steam platforms, and for Japanese players on September 12th.
League of Legends is turning ten and in honor of the big event, Riot Games has decided to celebrate with a special anniversary edition of Riot Pls — among other currently unannounced activities. The special Livestream will kick off on October 15 at 6:00 pm Pacific, where they will look back at their favorite moments and offer players a peek at what’s to come.
The stream will also highlight this year’s preseason changes as well as the next major content update.
When the anniversary announcement was published on the League of Legends site, the team also took the opportunity to reveal a new logo (seen above). It’s received mixed reactions so far.
What is the X button on PlayStation console controllers? If you have been calling it the "x-key" ever since then, then you are living in the wrong - at least according to the official PlayStation UK profile on Twitter. Specifically, at the beginning of the month, there was a debate on whether the X key is the letter X or is across. The discussion became noticeable enough, and representatives of PlayStation got involved.
Although they offered no official explanation, X is indeed a cross, not an X. Namely, the basic keys on the PlayStation controller do not use letters, as is the case with Nintendo and the Xbox. There is some meaning behind each character on the standard Sony controller keys, and the triangle, therefore, indicates the point of view or direction; a square refers to a piece of paper that represents a menu or document, and as far as crosses and circles are concerned, they represent options: yes and no. So, X is not an X, but across.
According to a poll on PlayStation's official Twitter profile, 81% of Sony console owners don't care for that explanation but believe that X is X, not some kind of "cross" or cross.

Rainbow Six Siege has recently received new content in an extension called Ember Rise, and the arrival of the Battle Pass format has been announced, which has not exactly impressed fans of the game. There is only one thing left for Ubisoft to announce - a new period for trying out the game.
Rainbow Six Siege will thus be free to play from tomorrow, August 28 at 3 pm until September 4 until 10 pm. This applies to all platforms, noting that Xbox Live gaming must have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.
