Activision officially announced the arrival of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game yesterday, which was also confirmed to use a new engine to deliver "photorealistic" experience.
This new engine uses the latest advances in visual engineering, including the new PBR decal rendering system, 4K HDR, DirectX Raytracing, new animation system, Dolby ATMOS support and other features.
This is a reboot of the Modern Warfare series that will offer a "culturally relevant" single-player campaign, featured in various European cities and the Middle East as well as online multiplayer and co-op modes. It has also been confirmed that the game will offer cross-platform features and will not offer a seasonal pass.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms on October 25 this year.
The rumors that came out this morning proved to be true - Death Stranding is coming out this year!
Sony and Kojima Productions presented the new eight-minute trailer, which impressed us, but once again confused us a lot, so we're still not sure what we actually saw. We recognized that this is an entirely new type of action game that will aim to "break the walls of isolation that people are increasingly building". In the game, we will have to connect isolated cities and fragmented society with the main protagonist Sam. How will all this look in practice, you can see below?
What is more important, however, is that Death Stranding has got a solid date of release and will arrive on PS4 already on November 8th!
IllFonic, the studio behind the game Friday the 13th: The Game, announced that it has entered into a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Fox to launch the Predator: Hunting Grounds game on the PlayStation 4 platform next year.
"We are great fans of this IP and this has made us closely examine all aspects of the game to make sure we remain faithful to this world. Fox was an incredible part of that process, "said Charles Brungardt, Chief Executive Officer of IllFonica.
It is an asymmetric multiplayer game in which a group of players will have the goal of solving paramilitary missions, while one player will have the opportunity to control the Predator and catch other players.
Just a few days after they revealed their plans for BlizzCon this year, Blizzard announced their participation in the second big gaming event, Gamescom 2019. In fact, we have found out that there will be none at all.
Blizzard officially confirmed that it will skip Gamescom 2019, which is held this summer. As the main reason for their release from one of the biggest gaming events of the year, they cited the problems within the company that resulted in hundreds of cancellations.
On the other hand, we can expect all the information about their upcoming projects during the upcoming E3 Fair and the aforementioned BlizzCon, which will be held in Anaheim on November 1st and 2nd.
